The visual counterpart to my poem A Falling Through, we are presented with a figure, framed by long theatrical curtains forming a corridor into a bright white light. I imagine a process whereby identity is simplified into a wall of coloured lines, each one slowly transforming and becoming a different thread of personality, experience and ambition. The cycle of life is perfectly expressed in the iconic sunflower, which produces seeds from which it is later ‘reborn’.
