Feelings

The fan buzzes on, an annoyance that barely reaches my consciousness today. Time flies, but to where I have no clue, just fragmented bitter-sweet memories of the the smiles we exchanged yesterday. This room seems smaller today, perhaps it’s my over active imagination, perhaps it’s the walls closing in. I write my sentence, another word follows the last, but my feelings are somewhere else. Inside my head, under my bed, it’s all elementary I guess.
